KDChat Application

KDChat is end to end encryption chat application for any Institute or Organization. Having its own unique features(Refer coming slides for all features). It supports all mobile devices(android, iOS, Windows). KDChat communication is based on the Signal Protocol, designed by Open Whisper Systems. Signal offers one of its kind end-to-end encryption and is today used by WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Google.

The protocol combines the Double Ratchet Algorithm, prekeys, and a 3-DH handshake. It uses Curve25519, AES-256, and HMAC-SHA256 as primitives. The protocol provides confidentiality, integrity, authentication, participant consistency, destination validation, forward secrecy, backward secrecy (aka future secrecy), causality preservation, message unlink ability, message repudiation, participation repudiation, and asynchronicity.

Security & Protocol

KDChat communication is end to end encrypted to ensure complete privacy and security to the sensitive information. As per the protocol, messages will be kept on the server in an encrypted format only till it gets delivered to the recipient. After successful delivery, messages are permanently deleted from the server.

Messages between KDChat users are protected with an end-to-end encryption protocol so that third parties and KDChat cannot read them and so that the messages can only be decrypted by the recipient. All types of KDChat messages (including chats, group chats, images, videos, voice messages and files) and KDChat calls are protected by end-to-end encryption. KDChat servers do not have access to the private keys of KDChat users, and KDChat users have the option to verify keys in order to ensure the integrity of their communication.
